To work for the ratification and implementation of the ILO Conventions 87 (Freedom of Association and Protection of the Right to Organise), 98 (Right to Organise and Collective Bargaining), 100 (Equal Remuneration), 111 (Discrimination - Employment and Occupation), 140 (Paid Educational Leave), 169 (Indigenous and Tribal Peoples), 183 (Maternity Protection); and of the ILO/UNESCO Recommendations concerning the Status of Teachers (1966) and the Status of Higher Education Teaching Personnel (1997).
