Project Summary:
Aims:
Strengthening of the organisation through the increase of trade union awareness and capacity of members and trade union officials; improvement of overall communication within the organisation; and improvement of the negotiating capacity.
Expected Results:
The organisation is better prepared to meet the challenges of globalisation and a reformed education sector in the country; special attention is paid to women, promoting more women to participate
Working Methods:
This is a low-cost and long-term project. The working method is based on partnership between the host organisation and co-operating organisation. The project is developed based on the needs of the host organisation and it is implemented by the host organisation itself. If experts or resource persons outside the host organisation are used they most often come from the country, neighbouring countries or EI regional office. The methods have been developed so that the host organisation should be able to run the activities funded by its own budget when the project is phased out.

To provide seminars to 240 women in order to empower and provide training to women teachers
