Project Summary:

Aims:
• Increase the participation of women in their teacher organization

• Improve the quality of life of women teachers by addressing their specific needs.

Expected Results:
• Increased membership of women teachers and active women’s groups at prefecture level
• Increased capacity of FESEN women leaders

• Increased number of women who join FESEN and its members

• Better performance from the 30 women’s committees at the regional level

• Improved quality and quantity of input from women teachers in the leadership of their organizations

Working Methods:
• Installation of FESEN gender equity committees in all prefectures and sub-prefectures;

• Training on gender equity issues

Number of Participants in this country: 50 per year

Target group: primary and secondary teachers
