Project Summary:
Aims:
The training aims to enhance the following union skills: the importance of union work, communication, and negotiations.
Expected Results:
To build a group of union members to be active at the national level and to continue the work of LPESPL in preserving the rights and acquired interests of public teachers
Working Methods:
The 3-days training involve: theoretical presentations on the 3 main topics of the training: the importance of union work, communication, and negotiations, and interactive exercises such as group work, and role play on negotiations and oral communication skills.
Number of Participants in this country: 25
Target group: public secondary school teachers, members of LPESPL
Gender Perspective: around 50% of participants were female
Recent updates: The training will be followed up in summer/fall 2009 to target more members of LPESPL.
