Project Summary:
Aims:
The training aimed to build the capacities of the participants in the following union skills; importance of union work, communication, and negotiations. These union skills were identified among other priorities earlier this year by TSL.
Expected Results:
The training is part of longer term cooperation between EI and TSL, in which TSL aims to establish a cadre of union activists and trainers, trained on different union and professional topics.
Working Methods:
The 3 days training involved: theoretical presentations on the 3 main areas of the training; the importance of union work, communication, and negotiations, and interactive exercises such as group work, and role play by the participants on negotiations and oral communication skills.
Number of Participants in this country: 25
Target group: teachers in private schools, members of TSL
Gender Perspective: 50% of participants are females
