Project Summary:

Aims of the project:
To strengthen TUN to become an effective and well-functioning democratic organisation that provides quality services to the affiliated organisations and serves the interest of all teachers in Nepal.

Expected Results:
1) TUN has become more influential in the development of the education sector as the social dialogue process has been strengthened at national level and consolidated at district level
2) 15,000 TUN representatives at village level have been enlightened on TUN policies, teachers' rights and responsibilities, as well as, on how to conduct activities for teachers.

Target group: 520 TUN central/district leaders, 210 female TUN village representatives, 15,000 TUN District Committee and Council members.
