Claire joined EI in January 1994 after working in the public relations and public affairs sectors for several years.
After thirteen years of dedicated work in support of teachers' human and trade union rights, she has been transferred to the Governance and General Services Unit on a pilot project aimed at further organising linguistic matters. She will help EI further develop its terminology databases and translation memories. She also assists the unit in the processing of membership applications.
Claire defines herself as a “communication person” who loves multicultural exchanges. She graduated in translation in 1987 and obtained a Master's Degree in International Politics from the Université Libre de Bruxelles in 1996.
She is Belgian, French mother tongue, and speaks English, Spanish and Dutch.
