Roger was born in Brussels, Belgium, in 1953.
He started working as junior accountant in the private sector in 1972 and got a graduate in accountancy in 1974.
He worked in the chemical and office machine sectors during 34 years, growing from junior accountant to finance manager of a European headquarter. During his career in the private sector he experienced the move, merge, acquisition, restructure, joined venture, spin-off, integration, harmonization, standardization, and centralization of companies.
Roger joint Education International to take care of the bookkeeping and of the Human Resources of ETUCE in 2006.
