Since its foundation, gender equality is one of EI's core work on equal opportunities both at work and in education. EI believes that EI is deeply implicated in the defense of the right of education for all and against the child labour. It's in this context that the organisation develops specific actions in favour of the girl child, too much often victim of a combined discrimination to be a girl and to be a child.
