For the record: Country reports
We aim to ensure that all governments include education at the centre of their plans for economic recovery and that investments in education include teachers, not only school infrastructure. Our interactive maps tell the story so that teachers in every country can keep one another informed. Are you on the map? Tell us about the situation in your country, and we’ll post it here.
Mapping the impact, seeking solutions

In Europe, a number of countries have already experienced cuts in their education budgets. These cuts are in many cases the result of a reduction of overall government expenditure, and in some of these cases also a consequence of general tax reduction. Apart from having to withstand the direct impact of the economic crisis, education systems in Europe face the need for more teachers and better school infrastructure.
