The Fourth World Congress of Education International, meeting in Porto Alegre (Brazil) from 22 to 26 July 2004:
  1. Demands that in the follow-up to its commitments to education for peace activities, EI draws up an action plan to use its affiliates to promote peaceful behaviour in school environments through dispute resolution and peer mediation.
