RESOLUTION ON EDUCATION INTERNATIONAL RESOLUTIONS
The Fourth World Congress of Education International, meeting in Porto Alegre, Brazil,
from 22 to 26 July 2004:
Given the broad scope and large number of resolutions passed by the previous three EI Congresses;
and
Given that there is no apparent procedure or policy for review or consolidation of these; and
Recognising that:
- many of the resolutions have common elements and require action;
- the resources of EI are limited.
It is recommended that the EI Executive Board devise procedures for consolidation, prioritisation
and reporting on Education International Policy Resolutions arising from EI International Congresses.
