"The happiness expressed by my daughter on her return to school, her academic success and the awareness related to the project convinced me to do everything possible to enable her to continue her education."

Kadjatou Douna, member of the Syentoula Mothers' Association: " This project has transformed teachers, and they react when a student is absent from school. Teachers' awareness along with the monitoring committees oblige all parents to take their responsibilities seriously. In 2015, thanks to a help from the anti-child labour club, I agreed to send my 9-year-old daughter back to school: I had no money to pay for her supplies and shoes, so I told her to stop going to school. The happiness expressed by my daughter on her return to school, her academic success and the awareness related to the project convinced me to do everything possible to enable her to continue her education".
