Launch of the Reading Changed my Life Photo and Video Contest
The Global Partnership for Education (GPE) launched the Reading Changed My Life Photo and Video Contest on 7 September 2012. It already celebrated 100 submissions from 36 different countries!
The goal of this contest is to expand and continue to share compelling photos and thought-provoking videos to highlight the importance of literacy and education.
You can share your stories on how reading changed your life or the life of someone you know, by submitting a photo or a video.
There are 3 ways to enter:
- Go to the GPE competition website, and click “Enter Now”
- Connect with GPE through Facebook using our Facebook app
- Tweet your entry to @GPforEducation with hashtag #readingcontest and include your name, your country and how reading changed your life
By sharing your story you will have the chance to win spectacular prizes! The top 5 photos and 5 videos selected by public voting will win an e-reader and be eligible for the grand prizes, consisting of photo and video equipment.
The submission deadline is 7 November 2012, and winners will be announced on 28 November 2012.
