Florian Lascroux is French, he first graduated as an engineer, and taught mathematics in high school in France between 2000 and 2016. In parallel, he worked as an activist for the main union in secondary education (SNES-FSU) at the regional level (General Secretary from 2008 to 2014), and at the national level. From 2008 to 2016, he worked in SNES’ international affairs department, on various issues: altermondialism (European and World Social Forum), European trade unionism (ETUCE), trade union representation at the OECD, and mainly bilateral cooperation programs with unions in francophone Africa. From 2014 to 2016, he served as President of the Francophone Trade Union Committee for Education and Training (CSFEF), the EI's network of Francophone unions. Since 2016, he works as coordinator of the Solidarity and Development unit in EI headquarters in Brussels, planning and monitoring cooperation programs.
