Heeyeong Jeon is the youngest ever elected President of the Korean Teacher’s Union (KTU). Prior to her election, she served as Head of Kyungnam Province KTU chapter. Ms Jeon was dismissed in 2016 in the fight against the de-legalisation of the KTU. She started her teaching career in a high school in 2001.
