Brittany J. Patrick, Ph.D.

Brittany J. Patrick, Ph.D., is a scholar-practitioner with extensive experience in both education policy and practice. She serves as Senior Policy and Program Analyst for Disability Rights and Inclusion at the National Education Association (NEA), the largest professional organization for educators in the United States. In this role, she leads initiatives to advance disability rights in schools and workplaces, supporting educators, families, and communities in promoting access, equity, and inclusion. A former special education teacher, Brittany’s portfolio includes managing national grants, developing tools and resources for educators, shaping policy strategies, and mobilizing partnerships across states to drive meaningful and sustainable change.
