Theodora Dede Amanor
Theodora Dede Amanor is the Gender Coordinator for the Teachers and Educational Workers' Union (TEWU) of the Trades Union Congress Ghana. She has expertise in education administration including ten years working for the Ghana Education Service and holds the following qualifications: an MA in Labour Studies, MBA and a Certificate in Gender and Inclusion from the University of Ghana. Theodora’s work lies deeply at the intersection of gender justice and labour rights. Focusing on social inclusion and safeguarding advocacy, Theodora has spearheaded gender-responsive programmes at TEWU, including helping elect the union’s first-ever female Chairperson in 65 years. She is doing her part to help amplify the voices of Ghana’s most invisible workers.
