Alejandro Caravaca

Alejandro Caravaca is an adjunct professor at the Faculty of Educational Sciences (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona). He teaches in the Bachelor of Education and is a member of the Education and Gender group. He holds a MSc in Social Policy, Work and Welfare (UAB) and a BSc in Educational Studies (UAB), including a semester at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium). He has participated in several research projects about education policy in Central America and the Caribbean, about the historical role of the World Bank in education policy worldwide, and about pluricultural identities in Catalonia. His main research interests are education policy, education inequalities, and gender studies.
