Paola is a member of the Conducción Nacional, the policymaking body of the Women’s Secretariat of the OTEP AUTÉNTICA SINDICATO NACIONAL (Paraguay). She is also a member of the Regional Committee of Education International for Latin America. She has a degree in Literature and a postgraduate degree in University Didactics. She is a secondary school teacher who teaches Spanish and Guaraní and is a professor of Paraguayan Culture and Hispano-American Literature at the National University of Asunción. She is a member of the educational policy team of the Consejo Latinoamericano de Ciencias Sociales (CLACSO).
