published 26 May 2015 updated 27 May 2015

The Congress Scheduling tab is now available on the registration section of the website! With this tool you can enter your flight details in order to ensure that we can arrange transportation to and from the airport for you in Ottawa and book your place at pre-Congress events, break-out sessions and side meetings.

Logging on – Creating a schedule as a Participant

Visit http://ei-ie.org/congress7/system/ and enter your username and password for your participant profile. You may find these in the registration letter that you received from ‘EI Admin’ when you registered for Congress. Once logged in, please click the Congress schedule button, and enter your travel information. Once this is filled in, click next to make your choices of pre-Congress events, Break-out sessions and side meetings, and social events. Once you have made all of your selections, click the ‘ Generate my timetable’ button - your schedule will not be saved until you click this button. An e-mail will be sent to you with your personalised Congress schedule and programme.

Logging on – Making a schedule as an Organisation

Visit http://ei-ie.org/congress7/system/ and enter the username and password for your member organisation. These codes are found in the letter that was sent to each member organisation from EI on 31st October 2014. If your organisation did not receive these codes, or if you have misplaced them, please email [email protected] to request a copy of the letter containing the codes. Once logged in, please click the ‘ Manage Schedule’ tab. On this page you will find 3 different menus:

  • The ‘ Manage schedule/event for participants’ which allows you to fill in a schedule for one specific registered participant.
  • The ‘ Manage schedule/event for organisations’ which allows you to select from one of the schedules of registered participants that you have already completed, and apply these same choices to either individual additional registered participants OR to the entire registered delegation.
    • To copy the schedule of one participant to another, simply select the participant schedule that you want to copy and then click the check box next to the name of the individual to which you would like the first participant’s schedule copied. Once you have done this, click update at the bottom.
    • To copy the schedule of one participant to ALL other registered participants in the delegation, simply select the participant schedule that you want to copy and click ‘ Copy schedule to all participants’. If you would like to delete this action later, then click ‘ Delete schedule for all participants’.
  • The ‘ Download schedule report’ allows you to download an excel file containing all of the schedules for all registered participants in your organisation’s  delegation.

Have you changed your mind?

If you would like to change your personalised Congress timetable at any time, simply log back into the Congress registration website, enter your credentials, click the ‘ Congress Schedule’ tab, make your changes, and click ‘ Generate my timetable’ again. A new e-mail reflecting your changes will be sent to you. The ‘ Reset my Schedule’ button at the top will delete all of the information you have previously input, to allow you to start the process again. If at any time you wish to view the entire Congress draft programme, please visit the Congress website at http://ei-ie.org/congress7/. You can view the schedule using the ‘ Programme’ menu at the top of the page.
