With the support from COPE DC partners, we organised a regional youth capacity building workshop from 15th to 17th October 2019. The program was attended by 26 young educators from the 11 EI/COPE affiliated union in the region. The conference covered a wide range of important topics dealing with leadership, gender, climate change and building a democratic and independent youth’s network.
TO INCREASE THE INFLUENCE AND PARTICIPATION OF YOUTH IN THE UNION AT ALL LEVELS IN THE COPE REGION

It provided a platform where youth can increase participation in all union activities, address gender issues, human and trade union rights challenges, climate change, privatisation and commercialisation of education in and of education in the Pacific and promote solidarity amongst COPE affiliates. The youth wing to be used as conduit for attracting and educating young teacher to the union.
