From 9 to 11 March 2026, the 16th edition of the International Summit on the Teaching Profession brings together governments and education unions from 20 countries to explore the theme "Switching gears: Teachers and learners in the future learning environment".
The ISTP 2026 is co-hosted in Tallinn by the Ministry of Education and Research of Estonia and the Estonian Education Personnel Union, in cooperation with Education International and the OECD.
Delegates will exchange and reflect on the following sub-themes:
- Evolving teacher profession
- Autonomy of educators and school leadership
- Artificial intelligence and educational technology.
