Les enseignant·e·s et les personnels de soutien à l'éducation connaissent les pratiques pédagogiques qui ont fait leurs preuves. Il est temps de reconnaître leur expertise et de leur donner les moyens de tenir la promesse d’une éducation de qualité pour tout·e·s.

Dans la salle de classe, les libertés académiques et l’autonomie professionnelle sont des conditions préalables à un enseignement et un apprentissage de qualité. En tant que professionnel·le·s de l’éducation, les enseignant·e·s doivent disposer de la marge de manœuvre et de la confiance nécessaires pour prendre les meilleures décisions possibles pour leurs élèves.

Au-delà de la salle de classe, les politiques éducatives doivent s’appuyer sur la vaste expérience et les connaissances dont seul·e·s les professionnel·le·s de l’éducation disposent. Nous plaidons en faveur de la participation des enseignant·e·s, des personnels de soutien à l’éducation et des organisations qui les représentent à toute prise de décision dans le domaine de l’éducation, et nous œuvrons à l’expansion du dialogue sur les politiques sectorielles à tous les niveaux et dans tous les pays.
