Descripción
We want to strengthen our bargaining and negotiation skills when we engage with the government team when negotiating for the funding of the public education Go Public campaign. The SNAT which is the only teachers Union in the country want to hold the government accountable about all the necessary duties that they must do as a government.
Objetivos
- Capacitate all our members about the GoPublic campaign
- Negotiate with government to public education
- Negotiate with government to implement the SDG4 and CESA
- Negotiate with government to implement the HLP recommendations
- Increase in the education funding
- Increase in the membership based of the union
Actividades
- Activities will include workshops on bargaining and negotiation skills. The proposed action will enable proper training for leaders which will help the union to be a more effective provider of services to its members.
- This project is a chance to negotiate with government about the SDG4, HLP recomendations and CESA and also popularize it amongst our members.
- We will use all our social media platforms more especially the SNAT platform which is now at 50 000 followers and is the most followed platform in Eswatini, to reach out to our members and the members of the society.
- We are also planning to do pamhleting in all the 1000 schools.
- Disseminate the HLP Recommendations.
