Descripción

This project builds on the last three year cycle and aims to enhance the quality of teaching and learning environments for five schools in Wakiso and Mubende Districts through strengthened teacher capacity, professional collaboration, and inclusive education practices by 2028, in collaboration with the Uganda National Teachers' Union (UNATU), school management committees and local government education departments, with the support of the INTO, to ensure institutional ownership and long-term sustainability. Through these partnerships, teachers will be supported as key agents of change in improving the quality and inclusivity of education within their schools and communities.

Nurture Africa an Irish-founded NGO with 22 years of impact in Uganda, has worked extensively in Wakiso District and Nansana Municipality to empower vulnerable families through integrated health, education, child protection, and livelihoods programmes with the steady partnership of the Irish National Teachers’ Organisation.
