Description
We want to reinforce the capacities on the following priority areas:
- Bargaining and negotiation
- Policy analysis at decision making level
- Effective messaging
- Strategic planning
- Organizing
Objectifs
The activities are aimed at building the capacity of the newly elected Executive Council members and the heads of the trade union committees to equip leaders with the necessary skills to carry an effective campaigns, developing effective messaging targeted to youth and strengthening trade union leaderships and members involvement in the policy analysis and negotiating.
Activités
We envisage to undertake the following activities:
- Carry on the provincial capacity building trainings (new education law and recruitment of new members).
- Leadership training focused on negotiations and effective messaging (combined provincial and Ulan Bator city leaders and heads on effective messaging and negotiations). The development youth program and activities will take place along side the trainings through the Youth Committee.
- Summer holidays and school entry. We envisage to organize a refresher evaluation and 2024-2025 planning meeting.
- Piloting the youth program for FMESU youth leaders from the provinces and the city, with a focus on recruitment and participation in union activities. It is important to note most of FMESU leaders are women, but our work of mainstreaming the gender perspective will be continued and embedded in all the activities.
