Ruchira Das
A sociologist and educationist by training, Ruchira Das is Senior Associate Professor at Institute of Home Economics, University of Delhi. Dr. Das was associated with the UK Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF) project titled Transforming Education for Sustainable Futures led by University of Bristol and anchored at Indian Institute of Human Settlements (IIHS), Bangalore as a Post-Doctoral Researcher. Her areas of research interest are: Urban Sociology, Sociology of Education and Marginality studies. Dr. Das is currently the Vice President of Comparative Education Society of India (CESI) affiliated to World Council for Comparative Education Societies (WCCES).
