Worlds of Education n° 27 is available on-line

Features in the September edition include the announcement of World Teachers’ Day 2008, Early Childhood Education and the EI Report on Hidden Privatization in Public Education.

Following on the official apology by the Canadian government to aboriginal peoples for Canada’s role in the Indian residential school system, Stephen Kakfwi, a member of the Dene First Nation and former premier of the Northwest Territories, is the guest speaker for this edition.

Other articles focus on the struggle to provide quality education in Nepal and Chad, the standard testing fiasco in the UK, and good news for teachers in from Brazil and Indonesia.
