Director-General of ILO praises EI
Guy Ryder, the Director-General of the International Labour Organisation, has praised Education International as 'one of the biggest success stories of the international trade union movement of the last two decades', during his speech at the Congress' opening.
During the official opening of the 7th World Congress, Guy Ryder, the Director- General of ILO, took the stage, noting the interaction of "education and work" and the importance of "life-long learning," which were values binding EI and ILO together.
