Human rights education goes beyond physical and linguistic borders
On the heels of International Human Rights Day, Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights’ education programme Speak Truth to Power has launched a free online course for Spanish speakers.
Currently taught to millions of students in North America, Europe, Africa and Asia, Speak Truth To Power is a toolkit for action that gives students and the broader public resources needed to address issues at the local, national and global levels.
The Spanish Speak Truth to Power Massive On-line Open Course, allows students and educators to easily access human rights education.
With international curricula already available in six languages, including Spanish, the new MOOC expands the opportunity to learn about human rights.
Education International (EI) is a proud partner of STTP and Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights. In September, the programme, together with EI, hosted global educators and social movement experts in Brussels at EI’s headquarters to help create a structure that can activate the citizenry of millions of Speak Truth To Power students and teachers to advocate on behalf of human rights.
