The activity involved the training of the National Executive Board (NEB) for teacher organizations. This Board is responsible for managing the daily operations of union activities under the guidance of the National Governing Council. It is vital for members to understand both the current status of the union and its future direction, along with the necessary steps to achieve that vision. Conducting training for the Board members not only fosters their development but also lays the groundwork for subsequent capacity-building programs aimed at other leadership levels, ultimately facilitating outreach strategies to engage members effectively.
Objetivos
The objective of the activity is to empower the members of the National Executive Board by providing them with essential skills and knowledge that will help overcome the hurdles confronting the union. This includes enhancing communication, fostering a member-driven organization, revitalizing the union through inclusivity — embracing diversity with a focus on young educators and women — and strengthening leadership and management in alignment with our strategic vision.
